Biography: | Pascal Bernard, born in 1972, lives in the South of Paris. He graduated as an architect at Ecole spéciale d'Architecture, founded by Gustave Eiffel. He is very fond of History and European comic books. He's been working in the game industry for many years, and his first boardgame, Montjoie!, was published in 1998. He received the Cannes As d'Or Award for best simulation game in 2002 for his game "XIII le complot", a boardgame based on the famous Belgian comic book series "XIII", by W. Vance and J. Van Hamme. He's been a Lead Game Designer for many years in a video game company, in order to design and develop his first video game, "War and Peace", released in 2002. He's a journalist for the specialized media Lotus Noir, where he writes reviews every month in the boardgames section of the magazine. |
